Obscurity du jour

Do M.B.A. degrees come with a minor in self-parody? General Electric cheered investors Friday by announcing a two-cent increase in the dividend it slashed in the credit crisis. It also made speakers of plain English wince, and "30 Rock" writers cheer, by explaining "the Company plans to continue capitalizing on complementary and financially attractive inorganic growth opportunities." Doesn't anyone just do mergers anymore?
